What Is the Coyote Rally?
The Coyote Rally is a European Banger Rally running from Calais to Paris, Munich, Prague and Amsterdam. Your car cannot cost more than £500. Many teams theme their cars - Scooby Doo, Ghostbusters, Blues Brothers and an American Taxi have all been done in the past.How much does it cost to enter and what does it cover?
The entry fee for the 2009 rally is £200 per team. This covers costs for organising the event and your event pack, which includes maps, T-Shirts, stickers and your Rally Guide.Is there an age limit?
You must be at least 18 years of age on the 5th April 2009 to enter.
How do we win?
Prizes are won for completing challenges set at the start of the rally, the team with the most points at the end wins.
What are the challenges?
The challenges are kept secret until the first morning of the event.
How many people can I have in my team?
Your team must have between 2 and 4 members. At least 2 must possess full driving licences.
Do I have to raise money for charity?
It is not compulsory to raise money for charity but it does make it more fun.
Is accommodation covered in the entry fee?
The entry fee does not cover your accommodation. We will give you details of recommended hotels, so all the teams stay together.
Is there any breakdown assistance?
No, this is all part of the experience. There are various companies such as the AA or the RAC that you can obtain quotes from.
Is ferry crossing covered in the entry fee?
The entry fee does not cover ferry crossings but we do offer a 10% discount when you book with SeaFrance.
Do I need special car insurance for the rally?
We are able to offer you event specific insurance for this year’s event. Details will be provided when you sign up.
